Being Flexible for Clients: Meeting you on your terms

I understand this deeply, not just as a therapist, but as a parent who has navigated the very same challenges.

That’s why flexibility is at the core of how I work.

If you need to bring your child to session, you are welcome to. There is no judgement and no pressure to make things look “perfect” before you walk through the door.Life isn’t neat, and therapy shouldn’t require you to have everything neatly organised just to show up. I know firsthand how hard it can be to arrange childcare—especially when you’re already stretched thin, overwhelmed, or working hard to manage your routines and responsibilities. Sometimes the biggest act of courage is simply arriving, however that looks for you.

I also offer a range of options so therapy can fit more comfortably into your life: in-person sessions, tele health, video sessions, and phone calls. For many clients, this flexibility has been the difference between postponing support and finally taking that first step. When we remove practical barriers, it becomes easier to focus on what truly matters—your wellbeing, your growth, and the work we do together.

My approach is grounded in meeting people at the level of their basic needs. Safety, comfort, accessibility, and ease are not add-ons in therapy; they are foundations. When you feel supported in the logistics, you can show up more fully in the emotional work.

Your healing doesn’t need a perfect schedule—it just needs space, compassion, and a therapist who can meet you where you are.
